communication. We made it very easy to find out how much our cars cost. We posted
prices on our cars and on our own web site and on outside used vehicle web

Dealers decide to re-price vehicles, for many number of reasons. A vehicle price might be lowered based on the time it is in inventory or
if it were used as a demo and increase its odometer mileage. When this decision to re-price a vehicle is
made dealers do it different ways. Not all margin reductions are available to
all prospective customers. For many dealers there is a need to to haggle or negotiate. In many instances this invloves the trade in alowance
The Retailer's
Decision: The Retail Price
Car dealers are retailers. Each
new car retailer, acts individually, decides the price at which it will sell
new and used vehicles. Buying a car is more complicated than buying a can of soup off the shelf in a
store or buying a book from a web site.
A car purchase often involves both a trade in and a car loan.
The market for the SelectCar Car buying service
We have seen the rise in buyer's brokers in the real estate market. Real estate sales agents are conflicted. Although they claim to represent both the buyer and the seller they really work for themselves and want to facilitate a tranaction and move on to the next sale. Car dealers and car salesman love "Horse trading" and dickering. No wonder most car buyers always wonder whether another customer got a better price by "driving a harder bargain."
Like all customers, you
have the final say: to buy or not to buy. Many delaers are experts in high-pressure sales tactics.
It's important consumers look at the entire vehicle cost, including depreciation, maintenance
and insurance costs. Slectcar are used vehicle warranty experts we know there is
more to owning a car than just the selling price. As part of our fee based serive we evaluate
the "whole package" of owning a vehicle versus a similar
vehicle either new or used from many other dealers. We help you discover there is a better offer from
another dealer.
We promise everyone who
who calls us or emails us will be treated with integrity and respect. entire staff
